This year will be a pivotal year for Triangle Fraternity during summer recruitment. The house is currently only about half full, and the upcoming summer recruitment will impact the health of our membership significantly. Brad Smith will be the recruitment specialist this summer. The Chapter and Brad are in need of help, financially and in many other respects. The active chapter is calling for the alumni members to support them this summer. The Alumni chapter, working with the actives, have set a goal of raising $5,000 to support Brad and the recruitment efforts this summer.
Brad, the Active Chapter, and the Alumni Board have set our recruitment goal for the summer as: adding 6 new members that move in to the chapter house. The chapter is now actively contacting old recruiting contacts and is hoping to bring in one or two sophomore members this spring before the summer effort begins. I encourage every alum to consider supporting the Chapter and to donate to help us reach our goal of $5000 for the summer recruitment budget. You can donate now through paypal here , or contact Josh Brown at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you want to discuss the recruitment efforts that are planned. If you cannot donate now, that is OK, and we understand that many of us are pulling back our spending. There are many other ways you can contribute. This summer, Brad will be traveling all over Iowa and the Midwest talking to recruits and parents. One way that we can all contribute is to offer to take Brad and a recruit out for lunch or dinner in your town. Or, perhaps give Brad a place to stay if he's on an overnight trip. If you can help by having lunch with a recruit and Brad, or giving Brad a place to stay then please send an email to Josh Brown at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we can add you to the recruitment helpers list. And finally, if you know of any graduating seniors that would make great triangle material then let us know. The active members can use as much help as the alumni can provide, anything you can do will help. |
